Geez, how life can gang up on someone so quick.

Well, a lot has happened since I last wrote up a journal entry. My grandfather-in-law died of a kidney failure. While it is sad he is gone it's nice to know he isn't suffering anymore because it was hard to see him hurting near the end. Then our precious daughter was born into this world on October 9th and is doing well. Unfortunately for my wife they had to do a C-section to get our daughter out but my wife is recovering remarkably well. I'm quite surprised at how well she was moving around the 2nd day after birth/surgery.

Then a couple more bitter pills were swallowed when the stupid golf cart at my workplace just died (in the middle of the sculpture park no less) and I had to push it all the way back to the security office and attempted to jumpstart it to no avail. And when I woke up today, my cat Lou was vomiting constantly and acting very lethargic so I took him to the vet. It looks to be a gastro-infection but the cause is unknown. Hopefully the medication will help him get better as I would like to keep him around a while longer since he's only 5 and I've only had him for a year and a half.

At least I have my wife and daughter right now and they're both healthy. There's nothing quite like seeing them huddled together in bed sleeping peacefully. It makes any day worthwhile.

More photomorphs on the way. I have had one done for a while but haven't gotten around to putting it up because I still want to add some little touches to it and things have been hectic.
